Bill: With the compression numbers you got, I would not worry about it too much. Ellie sometimes will belch some blue smoke, but she doesn't burn much oil. I figure it this way, for a 50+ year old machine, it is probably entitled to a little upset stomach. We are, so the Cub should be too..... :-)) Sounds like you have been doing everything right, so just go by the book and you should be ok. Check the oil regular, make sure it isn't using none. Let the MMO work it's way through, that might clear it up. You might want to check out the Best of H.L. Chauvin series of articles on the Cub Manual server at the url below. They may be of some help to you, at least to ease your mind...
