Farmall Narrow front end

My M has a Schwarz wide front and want to put on a narrow dual front end. I bought one, the casting stamp indicates it would be a 1957 (C) So I supposed it is from a 300 or 400. My question is, are all the t-posts from H,M,300,350,400,450 all the same, and interchangeable? Are H and M the same size? I've been told they were, but I'd like to hear it from someone in the know..
