I would think that a new shock with bushings, pivot pin, and spring would make you ride (and rest) alot easier. I got my stuff from Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch and could not be more pleased.

Enjoy that ol' girl and just hope you never have to replace the radiator as that is a huge pain especially on the wide front models.
