Update on Amanda!

She is awake a little more and knows she lost her leg and foot and cried just a little when she found out.her parents are taking all of this well as can be expected.they are taking turns going home and getting some sleep and I just spoke with her dad who is worrying about paying the bills that will surely come but knows somehow he'll get through.Her Mom is feeling guilty right now and thinks its all her fault and going through some mild depression,but is trying not to show it.The doctors are somewhat concerned about her as well.The best news is that Amanda will be taken off of the ventilator this afternoon,and things are getting better by the day!
