I have had a aftermarket 3-point hitch on my Super H for many years. Mine only has one hydraulic cylinder and it will lift the front wheels off the ground. It takes a little practice to plow with it. I have a two bottom Ford type three point plow and it does a real good job of plowing gardens. The trick is to get started at a consistant depth. I start at the end, lower the plow and allow the cylinder to go in the same amount each time so the depth is the same each round. The only problem is if you have uneven ground as the plow will come out of the ground when the front wheels dip into a low spot or it will go in too deep if the front wheels go over a hump. I also have 3 point 6' rototiller, brush cutting mower, and an 8' tandem disk (too heavy as the front wheels just stay on the ground). Roger

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
