If you haven't done so, take out the spark plugs to allow the gasoline in the cylinders to evaporate, and get new plugs to install as the old ones may be fouled from all the gas in the cylinders.

Now, take the carburetor apart and check it over, float, needle and seat etc. to find out why you are getting too much fuel in the engine. Then after a couple days, put the new spark plugs in and try it again and see what happens.
