In the Blue Ribbon manuel on my SMTA it said to put clutch plate and pressure plate on output shaft, join tractor then put bolts in pressure plate to flywheel. It is a bit different in that you have the pto splines in the pressure plate but don't see why that wouldn't work with M if split. Otherwise will be hard to see in there to line everything up.
