Don't want to be a smart A$$, but I know inquiring minds want to know. We have 2 later farmall 140s, and in the specs of the manual, the PTO rpm at full throttle is 541, so 1 too many per a minute :(. That is if your governer is still working ok. About the mower, a cheaper option if you don't care much about looks would be a sicklebar mower, sounds kind of stupid, but they are cheaper and cut clean. We had one for our 140s that we gave away for free so one of my friends could fit it onto his cub, learned the holes aren't quite the same ;), so be careful when choosing a mounting plate. If you are anywhere near central Ky, try Giles Farm equipment, they have a lot of used mowers like that normally and they are very reasonable.
