Years ago (abt 1972) I was a tool dealer, and one of my stops was a repair shop owned by two brothers, and they were good. They had an M with a For V-8 in it, and it was a nice neat installation. They just used it for parades, etc. They also had a WD allis which they installed an IGH 2000 (I think) loader on the rear, turned the ring gear around, and built a control station that was neat. Had hydraulic steering, etc. They had to reinforce the arms on the loader, with all the traction they got with it on the rear. great little rig. They also had an army surplus winch (big feller) which they had mounted on a trailer frame, and ran off the tractor pto. Had it hooked to a 400 I think. They had outriggers on the back of the cart to hold it in place when pulling. Said they had it ona 4 wheel drive that was stuck and didn't know it it would come out or not. They just started the pto and walked away till it sucked out of the mud. Weren't going to be anywhere around if the cable broke!
