Van, I disagree with you. donwis values the tractor with a working TA and applied that value to what he was willing to pay. Most agree that the price to repair a TA is sizeable when compared to the overall cost of a vintage tractor. To some of us it isn't worth the cost to repair it. But your statement that "he doesn't need it" some how trys to convey that your judgement is superior to his, it isn't, in my opinion. I think donwis would like to hold the auctioneer to what he implied was fact. I know, I know, auctioneers are like lawyers and can't be pinned down - but I know several honorable men who happen to be in the business and they do not want to be wrong. My nickel Dick Davis
