Well Allen 90% of the sales that i use to go to had a ride and drive on the rollen stock and if the told ya it was Ride and Drive that is what they ment that the engine trans and rear end was good to go but batterys , lites and hdy. seats, and oil leaks were your problem Now if they told you that it was AS IS then you knew what you were getting or it was in the dead row , loved the dead row if i needed work i would go shoppen in the dead row and bring and old girl back to life , A whole bunch of 706 gasser were brought back into the world out of there most times if was a pluged fuel line dead battery and charging system and a bad T/A ok no big deal . New T/A rebuild the charging system fix a couple lite new seat tune up fresh gas couple of new gskts and a good pint job out to the field for some testing get some dust on her and load her up and off she went some time they sold while i was out worken them .
