Fuel Sediment bowl and gas tank Question?

I cleaned my fuel sediment bowl and now I can't remember which goes on first, the little rubber gasket and then the screen filter, or vice versa? Also, there is a little metal disk shaped thing inside the fuel inlet that goes into the fuel bowl. It can be pulled out, but it is very tight inside the inlet. Is this part of the fuel bowl assembly, or should I just take it out? I wonder if this had to do with my poor fuel flow on top of the sediment issues. Also, I cleaned out the fuel tank last night and a lot of little stuff came out, but the inside of the tank is perfect, still looks like shiny new metal. I heard something like steel shot or a bb rolling around inside behind the compartments or baffles in the tank and I couldn't get it out. But that doesn't really matter because I doubt it could get into the fuel bowl anyway. I then blew it out with the compressor. IS there anything else I should think about doing to the tank before I put it all back together and fill it up again?

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
