This is a good tractor with a Continental engine (one of a few US IH with a non IH engine. The parts are apparently difficult to obtain, though not impossible certainly pricey. The rumor that they start hard is true. I grew up with a close neighbor who had a Diesel twin to our gas 350U. He used ether for 8 mo in the year, and it smoked on start for five min. It was very fuel efficient, ran on two thirds the gallons pulling 3-14s in clay compared to ours. Our gas utility was just a bit more powerful off of the delivery truck, (has been modified with bigger High comp. pistons). Value can be checked with opinions by checking this sight with a search. mine is if good TA and running well 1200-1600. if not, less JimN
