Well if it has the correct pressure plate and ya have at least one inch of free travel then it is close enough . Now if someone put a plate out of a 706 in it it will be stiff and ya better get to the gym for leg strengthen . when we built up my one buddys S/MTA the stock clutch would slip under heavy loads and full power SOoooooo we put a clutch out of a 706 in it it don't slip anymore but ya don't try and hold it down vary long either.
