Do not think that he broke and axel , Take some toold along and pull the drums off and jack up one side at a time and see what moves . It may be a bearing going out and has thing locked up heck it my be just a brake locked . And you can get the brakes to work well if ya just stop and figure out why they are not working like they should If i ever get a digial camra i'll have to show what i do to fix even the worse case of bad braking .
