Hi Greg, I have a 484 (1979 with the gears in a lightening shape line) and the serial number plate is on the left hand side underneath the fuel pump and just in front of the fuel filter. Love my tractor although I've just gone big and bought a Case 4230 that needs a lot of work doing to it. Bought the 4230 really for the challenge because if I'm honest with myself the 484 does everything I need at this very moment in time.
