You are correct my friend. The IT shop manual does say the fill level indicator plug is on the right side somewhere. It is on " the other right side". Look on the LEFT side of the rear transmission housing , down low, beneath the clutch pedal. About 2 inches toward the rear from where center section/clutch housing and rear transmission housing join , you will see a small hex head plug. A 7/16 or 1/2 inch wrench fits it. This is the " fill to " level. I always keep mine above this level because of using tractor on some rather steep hills.
