A 450 cam has a higer lift and longer duration than the standard M cams, its also has a different valve overlap and it does help increase performance, you can indentify a 450 cam by the left handed nut that holds the cam gear on. I have one for sale its 2 years old and was used in pulling tractor, leave your e-mail, or you can have a regrind on yours.
