Does the diverter valve itself show wear? If it leaks at the ends it will act like that. I asume this is a factory power steering unit. I went through this on a 450 that had weak steering unless one of the hydraulic levers was pulled then it was 1 finger steering. That valve is located under the regulator valve. Can be pulled in a couple minutes to check. I had to have a new one machined as they are not avaluable. Hope this is your fix because they can steer really well no matter what weight you are picking up!
