Since the tractor has to be run at high rpm to keep the air pressure up, things get a little noisey and distracting.

So consequently, everything is visual to give the operator indications of how well the machine is operating.

From the tractor seat, that little plastic window gives a view as to the hopper's seed fill. The gauge gives air pressure and the red arm at the back with the white flag, is hooked to an eccentric wheel running on top of the drop wheels. This tells the operator that the seed drum is indeed turning.
