from the 06 series up its rather involved, split the tractor, pull the speed trans off the rearend. Can't drop it till you're out past the end of the PTO driveshaft either. then disassemble the speed trans to get the the t/a. I'd suggest some white-out to mark the gears as they come out, top shaft and order it came out, and DO NOT let your helper get ahead of you pulling the gears out. 2nd slider gear will fit backwards and if it is, when you take off, 1 and 2 work, but it jams going into 3rd. Then its all apart again.
