EWA I have the original owners manual that came with my 350 Farmall. For the live PTO it says use 2-qt SAE 10W. For trans/diff W/TA: 7-gallon SAE-75 gear lube, OR 1-qt IH TA Transmission lube additive to each 4 gallon of either SAE-10 or SAE-10W engine oil. When temps are consistently above +40F SAE-80 gear lube may be used. For trans/diff wo/TA: use SAE-75 or SAE-80 gear lube. same mixture as above may substitute or above +40F SAE-90 gear lube may be used. Having written all that, most guys use straight IH HyTran in all the above componets, mostly because of the ability to hold moisture over a long period of time, I believe and the dealers do the same.
