Air Cleaner Cover

Hi Guys, I couldn't help but notice that this tractor doesn't have a cover over the end of the air cleaner like my old tractor did. The latch arm holds directly against the outer filter. I'm told that IH dropped the solid cover on the later models of the 966. Is this okay, or do I need to be scrounging for another cover? My books show the silly gizmo both ways; with the cover and also without. Anybody know about this change? Allan
