My wife wants to trade, ours doesn't have power steering or a loader! She loves ours though, calls it the BEEFY tractor! We don't need power steering very bad because we use 3-point equipment and when you pick that up it steers ok. The information I have rates it at 34 hp (hence 340) We don't have a hydralic valve like you described because we don't have a loader. My guess is that it is some sort of diverter valve so you can use your rear ports for a implement behind you. following the hoses should tell you. Ours is a 58 that is still 6 volt but everything works great. I have some frustration trying to get the PTO clutches set just right, but I may have solved that. We use a 5' King Cutter and it works ok
