Can"t seem to get this carb going right. I rebuilt the carb about 2 weeks ago. Found that the float (one side) was split. Sealed that up so it floats fine now. It runs great at idle, better then ever. I can idle it up with the screw, but it will stumble at higher idle. The problem is that on acceleration, it dies out all together. I adjusted the float level some and it does the same thing. Checked the linkage and it is working free and is lined up right. It will idle up some, but, a notch higher and it kills it. So, it won"t run wide open or, under load. Adjusted the main jet to several different positions and it does the same thing. Once, it did shoot a flame out of the carb air intake. Anybody have any ideas? I checked for air leaks and couldn"t find any (sprayed wd-40 on it).
