Dad bought a new B-275 in about 1961. It was a good tractor, and we used it alot. It got traded in in later years, but a few years ago I found another one, and restored it. The metal emblems on the side should have "McCormick" with "INTERNATIONAL" under it. The "McCormick" letters are smaller than the "INTERRNATIONAL". Serial numbers for the B275 diesel are: 1958--501 to 632, 1959--633 to 12160, 1960--12161 to 29467, 1961--29468 to 39539, 1962--39540 to 43119, 1963--43120 to 46417, 1964--46418 to 48976, 1965--48977 to 51039, 1966--51040 to 52932, 1967--52933 to 54711, 1968--54712 to 55546. Sounds to me like the price you paid is fair. Horsepower rating is 32hp on belt, 29hp on drawbar. They do steer a little hard, especially with the loader on it. My fenders were rotted where the braces are too, but I was able to repair them with fiberglass, they came out good. Hope this answers some questions.
