Hello, I need a loader for my 706. I can't afford a quick-tach, so that leaves the old axle mount types. The problem is the tractor has an aftermarket?? three point which bolts to the axle and pretty much takes up all of the space. I really don't want to take the fenders off. My question then is it possible to convert an axle mount loader to a mid mount? It seems like if someone was handy w/ a torch and welder they could make a braket that goes around the tractor like the new loaders have and then cut the old axle mounts off and mount it to the new subframe. Maybe even make it a quick-tach? Has anyone tried this or seen it done? Am I missing something? Thanks for the help!
