The hind sight would be to mark the position, and count flats on the jacks as they are loosened. To get there from here, screw all jacks down, then tighten all one turn at a time till they are just long enough to allow the jacks to begin to push on the spiral rails. (choose the location you want the wheel to be in when done so that there are minimum marks on your new paint) Then, with the axle jacked enough for the tire to clear the ground, place a jack stand or other stout object very close to the tire and "C" clamp a piece of welding rod (or stiff wire) to the stand so that the tip of the rod is about 3mm (1/8") away from the rim outer most edge. Hand spin the assembly and adjust opposite groups of jacks higher and lower until radial runout is less than a #2 pencil lead width. Axial runout (wobble) is less critical and depends on creative positioning of the jacks along the rails by tapping them in the appropriate direction. This takes time but works! JimN
