TL, I am a fan of "Hot Wrench", it will not hurt anything to heat them up red hot. There are two schools from there. Some like to turn them out when they are hot, I like to douse with cold water and then lube and turn them out. I worked for a few years in an auto repair shop and my boss could get anything apart with the torch and seldom ever broke of harmed anything in the process. Breaker bars are great but if a bolt does snap you will have more work. No one is wrong here, all are methods of removing stubborn bolts , my method is just another tool in the box to try...good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
