Was looking to bid on one or the other of a couple 650D "parts tractors". I'd stopped in last fall and was told these tractors weren't for sale. Guess they were after all! Neither was complete, neither one ran. But each had some little items I need for my 650. Watched a couple W-9's in similar condition sell for about $200 each, so I figured I was in business. First 650D- not running, front tires rotted off, decent rears, decent sheetmetal, 80% complete, brought $2000.00!!!! Next 650D- also not running, front tires rotted off, radiator and grille shell off but lying there, rear tires worn out, brought $925.00 600D- supposed to run but operators platform and batt boxes full of leaves and sticks, distributor taken out, front tires rotted off, brought $2000.00 Makes me think I got a steal on my running 650D for $300.00! Other tractors of interest and what they brought: W400D, supposed to run, but pretty rough shape, bad tires, brought $1700.00 SWD-9, supposed to run but missing alot of parts, bad tires, brought $825.00 SWD-9, didn't run but had decent sheetmetal, bad tires, brought $1200 M LP tractor- not running, no drawbar, otherwise fairly complete, brought $450.00(almost bought it) 1066D- pretty rough shape, bad tires, range transmission problems, brought $2400.00 706D- ran decent, rough sheetmetal, usable tires, brought $2300 966D Hydro, Cab, MFWD, decent shape but had hydro problems, brought $5250 806D Wheatland, ran decent, usable tires, brought $2300 806D, Cab, MFWD, One-owner, 5700hrs,usable tires, ran decent, didn't get it written down but was in $7000 range(they priced it to me at ten grand last fall). 886, cab, "Red Power", average condition, average tires, lots of new red paint covering who knows what, brought $8500 666 Gasser, nice new paint job, nice tractor, brought $3200 And finally what I thought was the buy of the sale(although I didn't buy it), a 1066D, cab, ran good, above-average shape, average tires, don't know how many hours, brought $4900.00 Anyway, hope I didnt bore anyone with these auction results...just feels pretty good sitting here at the computer being out of the wind!
