My dad, who "tolerates" my old tractors, told me today that he would like to put a loader on my Super M, to move small amounts of dirt under his hog shelters. Of course, I welcomed any "justification" of my old iron! Now the next question is, what IH loader will fit a Super M? We really don"t need/want a huge bucket, but a fully hydraulic (non-trip bucket) would be nice. I have at least heard of a IH 1701 and 2001, I know they are newer than the Super M. It would be neat to find something that would match the vintage of the tractor, if it was functional. Right now the tractor has NO hydraulics, but I have the parts to put live hydraulics on it. Will this handle the loader? Doesn"t have to raise/lower super fast, just work properly. This is not going to be used daily, so buying a Hydro is not an option! Also, where"s the best place to look for a loader, that"s not woretheheck out?
