Gord: You can still hide it by not clicking at bottom to receive e mail notification. You will not receive notifications that someone responded to your post, neither will anyone be able to send you an e mail. Your e mail is actually not exposed with the new format. The message goes to you via YT, then you decide if you wish to respond. In my opinion no one should be allowed to hide their e mail when making a statment on a public forum. If you wish to make public statments, you should then be available for public critism. Another matter is disputes that occur on here from time to time, often it is best for the individuals to sort their differences out privately. I think it will work quite well. Many will claim this causes them to receive unwanted mail. Ever since coming to YT 5 years ago, I have exposed my e mail on every post I made. I receive very little unwanted e mail. Also have met a lot of very fine people, and got to know them far better than one would on public forum. I would suggest that if people are getting unwanted e mails, the cause is from use of other sites on the internet, not YT.
