Sloroll and ElToro prety well covered it except one item common to a Super A. If original, your tractor doesn't have a solinoid. The starter switch on top of starter can become coroded. You have to remove the starter to take that switch off. It's just quite large brass terminals. There are two small plastic shields in there, look like overgrown guitar picks, don't loose them as they prevent internal workings of switch from striking switch body. Those switches only last 40 years plus. You can usually do a bit of cleaning on the switch terminals, it will work for awhile, but long term it may be done. I put a new one on my SA 10 years ago, 130 2 years ago and 140 has original.
