Joe: My uncle milked 20 cows on 100 acres of land in a climate with 7 months stored hay feeding. He did all his work with a Super A, probably plowed about 15 acres per year. This was in the 1950s an his front end loader was a fork and shovel. The very first year I ever plowed 100 acres on home farm about 1960, I did all the plowing with Farmall 130 and 2x12 fast hitch plow. My dad was spreading manure with Farmall 300 on spreader and Cockshutt 540 with loader. We milked 40 cows morning and night. As I recall we did trade jobs some days. I think plowing was both my dad and my favorite farm job. If I were you looking at Super C, I'd go for one with fast hitch with fast hitch mower and plow. That pre fast hitch mounted equipment from IH just too slow mounting. The Super C is a great little tractor. With a 2x12 or 2x14 plow you will plow 5-7 acres per day, have lots of time for morning coffee and a cool one in the evening.
