HI KEVEN, that strap is like fiber with rubber its almost like the old byis ply tires. I have used neoprene for the coushin before. I beleve the top fill plug is the same as a 3/4" rachet if you dont have a 3/4 set just go to parts america and buy a 1/2 adapter to 3/4. As far as wiring I can sell you wireing harness for not to bad of a price if you let me know what ones you need and if its a mag or dist I will give you a price if you wish usally there are like3 or 4 harness with the lights. JON
