Hey buddy, what's a guy to do? Went to Springfield today, right in the middle of town, to pick up a couple of culverts for the daughter's driveway, and there in the corner, sitting on a car trailer, is a C with a pull behind brush hog mower. Now I need just ANOTHER tractor like you do, and the wife is starting to get a little quiet at these times, so I just walk right on by and give it just a little look. Well it must have been enough, cause the owner saw me and told me it was for sale. Silly me, I asked how much, he told me, I said that would be fine if he could sell it for that, but I didn't need it that bad. Started walking to the truck, he says" How much would ya give me?" I came back with a little over half what he wanted, he hummed and hawed a little and I started for the truck again, pretty proud of myself for not buying it. He comes out and says I think I'll just sell it. Well now I'm out there on the old limb. He is even going to deliver it next Sunday out to the ridge here. Oh well, I tried. I just told the Missus, "But honey, it's still cheaper than Allan's was!" Thanks buddy, ya saved me again. :-) Harley

I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too.
