The list shows the FIRST serial number of each year. If yours is higher than that number, but lower than the next year's number, it was made in that year. Here's a cut-n-paste from the M list

1942 50988
1943 60011

Your serial number is 57521. That's higher than 50988 and lower than 60011, so your tractor was made in 1942.

There were over 250,000 Ms made, and each has a UNIQUE serial number. It would be crazy to list them all one at a time.
