I did this this to my SM. Pump replaces the drive to the distributor. Reservoir replaces rear fuel tank support which also looses your voltage regulator mount, choke braket and starter switch mount. I recurved the choke rod to fit the new mount (on the reservoir) relocated the starter switch, and converted to a 12 V alternator with built in regulator. Bought a new seat box, seat suspension, an aftermarket 2 spool valve that I mounted on the seat box and plumbed it all in. The shifter (assume you have the one with 2 bends in the handle) will need to be heated up and recurved to clear the seat box in 3rd and 5th. Original belly pump system is still in place and useable.
