Thanks for the response. My 154 has gravity feed, no fuel pump. I can find no cracks in the manifold and I had put Stabil in the fuel over the winter. This is the first real problem I have had in the 20 plus years I've owned it. I have changed clutches, put in new valves, rings, bearings, etc. just to freshen her up about 76-7 years ago. I may sell the old favorite though as I am soon selling the house here with acres of lawn and will have no need for a big mower.
