I have a 1955 CA - rated @ 22.97 h.p. My book also states weight is 3,000 pounds. 125 cu. in. engine. Fourth gear high idle speed is 13 1/4 m.p.h. 76 3/8 " high; 81 7/8 " wheel base; overall length (not inseam) is 124 5/8". App. 8" turning radius. Optional 145 lb. wheel weights. Very economical tractor those Allis Chalmers. My dad has two oldies - a WC & a B. My hand clutch doesn"t work and has been sitting @ a shop - outside since late last summer :^(. I have a front blade I want to build a frame for and mount and use to plow snow. Didn"t get that all done, but only got to plow twice last winter anyway. You won"t go wrong w/ an Allis Chalmers. My dad says the H was a good tractor also. Hey, if you can swing it and have storage room - then you can pose both the H and CA for pictures! Hope this helped some and I wish you well.
