1466 problem

I started to the field last week with 12' disk and grain drill hooked to disk. Going up steep hill I opened up the fuel and engine just raced and did'nt pick-up any speed I thought there goes the clutch I started to turn around and get the 806 but it acted alright after that.I planted 60 ac. deep sand some places up to the hubs it would spin the tires.The ta was out on the tractor when we bought it 12 years ago any body know what happened and ball park what will it cost to replace clutch and ta.
