I'm not sure that IH specified to pattern. The manual for an H does not say much about that. Start in the middle and work your way to the ends in a spiral pattern. Tighten the nuts (Bolts ?) in three or four stages i.e 50, 60, 70 ft.lb.. Keep going around until every nut takes the specified torque (70 Ft.lb. is the value for an H).
