I think the reason you're having the trouble is the water filled tires, and possibly tire pressure too low.. The ag tires without water in them should'nt tear up the ground unless you're mowing when it's too wet or you have pure sandy soil, or the only other cause would be ground speed too fast and turning too short on turns going too fast. You can correct every thing but the sand without buying new tires. The turf tire will mark sandy ground also. We run 24 ft finish mowers behind up to 100hp tractors on a turf farm, we use ag tires on all but 1 tractor. The reason it has turf tires on it is they were cheaper than the radials when tractor was bought, and that was the only choice we had- turf or radial ag tires.
