My grandfather had a 300 utility with a loader for years. It was sure a handy little tractor. He shoveled a lot of manure with that thing over the years. His had a down exhaust and I remember taking a hack saw to an old steel bed head board to make a new exhaust pipe. I never remember any problems with the steering though.
