Hi1 My neighbor has a gas 424 that runs pretty fair (has a cracked exhaust side manifold). It was a tough starter, but I tuned it up for him and runs very smooth now. He has been asked by a local fellow if he would sell it so the neighbor asked me if I knew what a fair price for it might be. I told him I have no idea (I am not interested in it). I know it's tough to hazard a guess on a machine that you have not seen, but this guy just needs a High end/Low end to start off with. I have no idea, but I would think he is in the neighborhood of maybe $2500. Tires are decent. Or, is there a place to go to find any recent auction prices or a blue book pricing guide? Thanks for any help you can give me on this. Frank
