CUBs are one of those tractors like N-series Fords. They have a value all out of proportion to their actual usefulness. I've seen CUBs run from $1,200 to $4,000 depending on the region of the country and the condition and equipment. If it runs well, has good sheetmetal and tires it'll bring $2,000 easily, more if two guys really want it or the auctioneer has a "phantom" bidder. Be very careful when bidding, as this seems to be a common practice with auctions at places other than a farmer's home place.
