Farmer Bob Thanks for the warm welcome. The tractor currently has a block heater on it so no worries there about getting her warm on a cold day. The wheel seals, the fellow told me a few years back he did replace them. Said there were the felt kind. After replacement he said they went right back to leaking. It's not to bad but enough to leave a mess on the rear housings. I'll probably look into that project this summer when it warms up some. The rear end he told me currently runs 70/80 oil in it. He told me that he ran the lightest oil in the back end he could of a gear oil other than hy-tran. I also aquired an IT manual from this fellow for the tractor when I bought it and when I got the new point's cap and rotor for it the other day I ordered a new owners manual for it through the caseIH Dealer. I'm starting to get things going on the ole girl but I definitely have some more work to do to her. I'm still always open for more tips on that 400 so if anyone else has anything to offer please post it. Thanks Richie
