The 330 is basically a "under 300U-sized engined 350U".Yes,the generator/alternator is over on the left side.Unlike the C169/175 where it was over on the right.The C135 engine is rated rather low compared to the C169/C175 on horsepower.It was a stopgap model until the 340 model came along.It gave IH a low priced Utility model to compete with its retail rivals.
