Dennis - The Liftall lever should have 3 positions - lift, hold and drop. And it should be spring returned to the hold (center) position. If you have an auxiliary remote 4 way control valve installed, the Liftall lever must be pulled full back and latched in that position in order to send pressure to the 4 way valve.
