My Super M ran 20+ years with duals. All 4 wheels were mounted concave side out, and with the inner set mounted as close to the axle housing as they could go. The tires on the inner set were also loaded. Never had a lick of trouble with the transmission/rear end. Only problem was when an outer wheel's clamps worked loose and the wheel flopped around on the axle, breaking out a chunk of the wheel hub.
